Hi Readers,
More and More we're seeing building fires and off the top of my head I can think of at least 6 buildings that have caught on fire within the last 6 months that have required some form of evacuation. These fires have burnt the building to the ground which obviously is devastating to both employers and employees.
I ask the question "Do you have a plant room at your workplace?" because there can be many plant rooms within a building. Maybe you work in a premises that is one tenancy of many, maybe you have a whole floor for your workplace offices. What risks do you have that could lead down the same devastating path?
More importantly I would prefer to know, that you know how to get out safely in an emergency situation. (Please read the attached Link - http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=378671 or previous blog)
