Bomb Threat Resources

The Australian Federal Police have a bomb threat checklist on their website, which includes information on biological and chemical attacks, it can be viewed here.

This site also has some useful information on these types of attacks, this information can be found here.

Incidentally for those of you wondering how to do a Public Address announcement to notify staff that a Bomb Threat is occurring without causing public panic, remember that colour codes can be used. These codes are referred to in both AS3745 and AS4083. The colour code for a bomb threat is "Code Purple". As such an announcement could be made over the PA saying "Attention, Attention. We have a code purple situation, all Wardens please investigate".

For those of our valued clients who have recently had bomb threat training with us at Deltra Australia, the statistics related to the illegal use of explosives in Australia can be found at the Australian Bomb Data Centre website here.
